Good Morning Murry Class!

Good Morning Murray Class!

I hope that you are well and that you enjoyed the sunshine over the Easter break. I went for lots of walks, ate far too much chocolate, I loved reading books and I enjoyed watching films – I especially enjoyed watching Dumbo.

Welcome to the Summer Term of Year 2 at SdS! It saddens me that I am not able to say this to you in person but we are all in this together! On the One Note, we have uploaded a daily Maths, English and Reading task. For many of the tasks you can choose the level of challenge that you want to do within the task to include “Comfort, Stretch and Challenge”. The children will be used to these terms for the different level of challenges as we use them a lot during our Maths lessons. There are also two different spelling activities that can be completed throughout the week, alongside practising to spell the High Frequency words. Within the Topic section, we have included some suggested activities that you can complete for The Great Fire of London and for Science to learn about Life Cycles. The Great Fire of London is our favourite Topic so we thought that it would be a great opportunity to see what you can find out about The Great Fire of London at home. When you have completed work, please email me and share with me as to how you are getting on. I hope that you have a wonderful day and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
