Year 1: Paddington Class Update

Good morning Year 1, we have had another great week of learning and wanted to share some of our achievements with you all.

 

In English, we have been learning to write about monsters. We watched the trailer for monsters inc and then created our own monsters, thinking about adjectives to describe them. After that, we wrote a report about what our monsters liked, ate, scared of and more. It was great fun and we all got very imaginative.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Maths, we have been consolidating our understanding of number bonds to 20 and even applied this knowledge to word problems.

 

For PHSE we thought about next year and how excited we are to move to Year 2. The children created a profile all about themselves to share with their new teacher.
