Well done to the children who didn’t go to France.

Well done to all of the children who didn’t go on the France residential this year. I had a lovely time spending some of the week with you (as did Mrs Rosevear, Miss Berry, Miss Varrall, Miss Bland and Mrs Mackintosh). We have achieved many things this week: learning all about Senlis and the Battle of the Somme, hearing real-life war time stories from Mr Williams, doing sports, sketching and using watercolours, taking a trip to the park, researching and trying French foods, watching films and lots of cooking for the Macmillan cake sale that we hosted ourselves. This was a great success and you were all extremely polite and helpful. The final amount that was raised will be shared next week when the last of the donations will be sent through. Mrs Greener.
