Year 4 – World Book Day Reminder and Reading

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is World Book Day! Children are able to come to school dressed as a character from their favourite book. We have a Stay and Read session from 8:45 – 9:15 where parents are invited to come in and read with their child so if you are free, please come and join us!

As it is World Book Day, we thought it would be a great time to remind everyone about the 100 Book challenge. At the start of Year 4, every child was given a copy of the Year 4 book list. Please make sure that when you take home one of these books, you read it regularly and try to finish the book after around 3 – 4 weeks. This is so that you have the best chance to read all of the books on the Year 4 list and so that other children are able to take out new books from the list that they have not yet read!
