Year 2 – The Papaya that Spoke

We had a funny start to our English lesson this morning, when a video popped up of a funny looking Papaya, speaking!

It told us how early one morning he was minding his own business when suddenly someone picked him from the tree! He shouted “Hands off!”

Luckily, there’s a story to go with this funny Papaya, so we began to learn the story together. We picked it up really quickly and I think it’s going to be great for our writing!
