Year 4 – Lennon-McCartney Writing

What a great week of writing we have had! This week, we explored how authors create and develop characters and constructed a character toolkit that showed examples from different texts. We then applied this knowledge by writing character descriptions from pictures we had never seen before. Our shared writing is really developing and it has been amazing to see the vocabulary choices and sentence structure developing over the week. I am already excited to see our character change stories that we will be writing next week.
