Mozart – Rainbows, maths games and celebrating achievements!
This morning, Mozart class had a lovely time painting rainbows to put in windows, something that lots of children and families have been doing. The idea behind this is that when people go for a walk, they can try and spot as many rainbows as possible around their local area, starting from next week! From then on, there is a new object / theme for people to paint and put up in their window to make passers by smile. The next time you go out for a walk, see how many rainbows you can find!
After this, we then used our times table knowledge to create games to challenge and develop our multiplication knowledge. We had to think logically about how the game would work, what equipment people would need and think of the calculations (and answers!) needed for the game.
A big well done to everybody!
