Year 1: Paddington: Stars of the Week

Our first week of the Summer term is complete and I could not be prouder of the work you have been emailing me. So many of you are working really hard and have an amazing growth mindset towards the work you are completing, well done.

Every day I am sent emails that put a huge smile on my face and I really look forward to seeing and hearing what you have been up to.

I have loved watching videos of Gracie reading stories at home. She has been adding expression to her voice and has been enjoying many stories with her mummy.

Ellie has also been enjoying reading and has completed lots of the reading comprehension sheets.

Jovan has been working very hard on all of his learning but particularly his Maths. Jovan has been completing lots of the stretch challenges to push his learning even further. Well done.

Daria, Oscar and Iga have been working hard and have been improving their kinetic letters handwriting. Oscar sent me a piece of writing that was so fantastic I had to double check he wrote it!!!

Lyla has been getting active in her garden and has completed the PE challenge to spell out your name. It involved lots of jumping!!

Sophia sent me lots of pictures of her great work with some brilliant drawings. She has been making lots of crafts with her family and they look great.

Oscar has sent an amazing email all about his forest school afternoon. He went on a fantastic mini beast walk and saw so many different bugs and creatures. He then worked hard to collect resources and has created a bug house. I wonder who will move in!!!

I have had so many fantastic emails and want to say a huge thank you to everyone at home, children and parents. We really appreciate everything that you are doing and think you are amazing!

Have a lovely weekend and I can’t wait to speak to you again on Monday.

Miss Leatherland 🙂
