Hello everyone,

It’s been another busy week for us all and it has been wonderful to hear of the united community we have. This is from the school community, to the local community and the wider town community. I have received so many thankful messages and emails which are always so well received. Again, many thanks to you all for everything you are doing at the moment.

Tomorrow we will celebrate the 75th anniversary of VE Day and remember the joy of the nation when fighting against Germany in Europe came to an end after six years. As you can imagine, prior to the school closure, we had many ideas of how this would be marked at school which unfortunately won’t now go ahead. Instead, I hope you can enjoy a celebration of your own at home.

Later in the day, we will be releasing our next staff video to mark VE Day, say thank you to the NHS and the key workers and to also bring our school community closer together. Please watch out for it on our social media pages!

Remember- We’re all in this together!

Please stay safe, enjoy the long weekend and I look forward to chatting next week.

Mrs Fennelly
