Hello Reception

We have been enjoying the sunshine back at school in the Gruffalo bubbles.

Talking of ‘bubbles’ we listened to the story of Super Soap and his mission to save children from germs. We also learnt another song about washing our hands which helps to make washing our hands fun and also helps us to keep the germs away!

Our theme this week is sea life and we have been writing about what we can see in a picture of life under the sea. Not only do we have to remember all the usual things from our writers toolkit such as capital letters, finger spaces, full stops, using our sounds and tricky words but we have also been using adjectives to make our writing more interesting to the reader. Some super examples – I can see a treasure chest with a beautiful blue necklace. I can see a sword fish with a long, thin nose. I can see a pink fish with pink fins.

Shhhhh …. we have been making superhero cards for Father’s Day which the Daddies or someone special in our lives will love 💓 and today we get to write a special message in them.

Have a lovely day.
