Year 1: Sport

Good morning Year 1. I am sure we have lots of happy children and parents that football is back on the TV. I know Mrs Chamberlain and Miss Twigg have been watching the football with their partners.

I was wondering what is your favourite sport and why. My favourite sport is the Triathlon because I think it is amazing that the competitors complete three events in the same day. When I was little I used to get up really early in the morning to watch it on TV.

Can you write a sentence about what your favourite sport is and why? Remember to use a capital letter at the start of the sentence, a full stop at the end and use ‘because’ to explain why.
