Have fun reading

As a new week starts, I want to share with you a wonderful website I explored again over the weekend. Book Trust has a brilliant collection of stories to listen to, some read by the authors themselves, activities, lessons in drawing characters from familiar books and so much more. I soon lost track of time whilst I enjoyed listening to stories! Why not take a look and let me know what you think? This week there is a special feature from Cressida Cowell, author and illustrator of the fabulous How to Train Your Dragon books, as she launches Cressida’s Creativity Summer Camp.

Whilst on the subject of reading and books, I would like you to tell me what your favourite book is. When I was at school, I loved The Famous Five books by Enid Blyton. It would be interesting to find out what books your parents liked when they were at school and see if any of the mums and dads within the class enjoyed the same books.
