A brilliant day in Year 1!

Yay! You did it! Your first day in year 1 and what a great day it was!

Today, we noticed that a pot, soil and some seeds had been left in the class with a note saying ‘plant me and you shall see…’. We decided as a class, that it was best to plant the seeds to see what might happen next. Some children thought the seed might grow into a beanstalk and others thought it might grow into a flower. We thought carefully about what it needed and realised it would need to be watered regularly and have plenty of sun to grow.

Well done to all of the children for their first day in year one 🙂
