We are so proud of how amazingly well the children have settled back into school. We welcomed three new friends to our class last week and it is like they have always been with us, fitting in so well. When I think about all the things we have done, I cannot believe it has only been one full week that we have been back. We have been exploring, playing, cutting, model-making, counting, spelling, writing, laughing, building, acting, practising, listening, writing, watching, exercising, challenging and congratulating amongst so much more! Congratulating was one of our new word wizard words!
That brings me to a good point – don’t forget to collect new words that you find when chatting and reading. It would be great to win the school competition each week for the class who finds the most new words. Our topic of dinosaurs could be a great place to start.
Take a look at this wonderful collection of photographs from this week.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
