Year 2: Ennis

Good morning Ennis Class. We have had a wonderful week of learning and wanted to share what we have been up to.

In Maths, we have been recapping our understanding of place value. The children have been creating different two digit numbers in a variety of ways to show different representations. They have then discussed the value of the digits and what the number represents. e.g. 21- the 2 represents 2 tens which is 20. The 1 represents 1 one.

In Science, we have been thinking about materials and whether they bend, stretch, twist or squash. The children had time to experiment with different materials before writing up their findings.
