Year 5 – Einstein

Hello Everyone,

Welcome to another busy week, this term in science we are learning about Earth and Space, the children have really enjoyed learning about this so far and are excited by the topic. Today we explored the concept of day and night, using a globe and a torch, to represent the sun, we could clearly see how parts of the Earth would be in daylight whilst facing towards the sun and night time when facing away from it as it rotates on its axis. We then drew diagrams to represent this and labelled them, here are some pictures of our drawings for you to enjoy. Well done everyone!
