Paddington Forest School

We had a brilliant afternoon in Forest School. First, we talked about one of our four seasons; Autumn. It is the season that comes after summer. Autumn begins in September and finishes on the Winter Solstice in December.

During Autumn, the days get shorter and there is less sunlight. Leaves start to change colour and fall off the trees. Animals begin storing food for the winter. Walking around the forest, we tried to spot the signs of Autumn. Some children went on an Autumn hunt and others made a hedgehog out of the natural resources they could find in the forest. As always, the children worked together to complete their tasks in the most wonderful way with words of encouragement and kindness for each other.
