Reception – Rainy Day at Forest School

Gruffalo class were not put off by the rain today, and had a brilliant time at Forest School in our waterproofs and welly boots!

All of the children enjoyed jumping in the muddy puddles, and playing with the water pipes and boats, the rain water also came in very handy in the mud kitchen to help mix up mud pies and leaf soup.

On our walk back into school the children were excited to have a detour onto the playground to make the most of splashing in all of the puddles. It was great to see so many happy, smiling faces, and some very enthusiastic jumping.
