Murray Class – What a great week we have had!

What a brilliant week we have had! Great news; the instructions that we learnt for ‘How to trap a troll’ worked because I received an email from a Troll Expert to say the troll has been captured! This week, we met Edger the dragon and now we are starting to create some instructions for Edger’s owner. We decided that we will create a set of instructions to about ‘How to control Edger’s fire’ and ‘How to care for Edger’. I am really looking forward to seeing all of your ideas in your instructions next week! Here is the link for you to watch Edger again at home. In maths, we have been learning about the value of coins, using coins to add amounts of money together and to calculate change using money. On Thursday, we played shops to calculate the change to give to shoppers.

Today, we had a great time cheering on our duck ‘Breaddie Mercury’ in the Children in Need Duck Race. Breaddie Mercury came 10th out of 20 ducks!

Additionally, today we sent home your parts for our Christmas play ‘Christmas Around the World’. The song that you can learn at home is called ‘Sparkle and Shine’ which is from the film ‘Nativity’.
