The Christmas Story in Reception

Today in R.E. the children heard the Christmas story and the reason why Christians celebrate Christmas.

One of them told us later that Jesus had been bored! Think they meant born 😀

There was lots of discussion about the way some of the children are celebrating Christmas in their homes. Many have their trees and decorations up already and there was a long list of things they would like Santa to bring to them.

We also heard lots about the naughty elves in some homes!
