A Busy Morning

What a busy morning we have had at school today.

We are coming towards the end of our Talk for Writing unit of work and the children were challenged to draw a story mountain of the text. There was some fabulous work and the concentration was great! The children are experts at reciting the story with lots of expression.

We also did lots of maths working on place value. Some of the children used dienes to show numbers with two and three digits and then consolidated their learning with a maths game on the devices. With reading, hat making, phonics and snack and playtime, we are all worn out and its only lunch time!
