Reception Forest School

Over the past few weeks at Forest School we have started to feel very festive with a Christmas tree craft challenge. Alongside our normal activities and exploration in the woods, the children in Reception have been busy collecting and measuring sticks. They have used their maths skills to correctly order the sticks by length, and then stuck them to a lollipop stick to create the shape of a Christmas tree.  We then spent some time in the woods searching for small red berries, the perfect topper for our trees. The trees have now been used as part of the children’s Christmas card art work, and they are very excited to take them home to show their families. Well done Reception 🙂
