Year 1 Paddington Class

It is great to see you are all working so hard on Week 4 of our learning.

I have really enjoyed hearing all of your lost and found stories based on our new English book ‘Dogger’ which is one of my favorites!  As well as hearing your rhyming words from the poem Ankylosaurus.

In Maths we have been looking at subtraction using your First, Then and Now stories. I can’t wait to see how you are getting on using the numicon to support you in your new challenges.

In phonics we have been looking at our ‘split diagraphs’ like ‘o-e’. Can you remember how we must read our split diagraphs?

The snow may have melted but there’s still lots of fun to be had outside as your collect your twigs ready for your forest school activity – hopefully the rain will hold off for you. I can’t wait to see what you create.
