Year 2 Ennis Recycling Project and Easter Competition

Wow I have been so impressed with the work the children have presented in class today to conclude our recycling project. I have loved marking key skills each week to see the creative things you have made at home out of recycled materials. Today, we had a fantastic presentation on why recycling is important from Thomas, Holly discussed how we could reuse crisp packets to reduce our waste and many children showed us how the things we often put in the bin, could be reused to make pieces of artwork or homes for wildlife.

Here are some of the wonderful things the children have made.

Well done to all of the children who entered the Easter Competition. Everyone who took part was awarded with a certificate. Sofia B won the best cake award, William won the best Easter picture award and Zara won the best Easter bonnet award.

It has been a wonderful three weeks back together and I look forward to seeing you all after the break.

Happy Easter.
