Paddington forest school

We had a wonderful time in the forest yesterday. We began with a search round the forest and to our surprise we found lots of fairy doors. This sparked a discussion on fairies as we’ve been told that there have been numerous fairies spotted in the forest. We set out to see if we could find any. We had to walk slowly and quietly and a few children said they saw or heard the flutter of their wings.

We decided that it would be a good idea to make the fairies some homes and as we know they enjoy gardening so much, some gardens too! Working with a friend, the children created the most wonderful homes and gardens for our new forest friends.

Working with an adult, we also made the houses some new fairy doors. Take a look at our amazing creations below.
