Forest School Matilda

We had a wonderful time in the forest last week. Mrs Chamberlain started the session by telling a story about the adventure she had been on collecting special ingredients to make magic potions. The ingredients included: squashed toads, dragon scales, unicorn blood, rays of sunshine, lizard snot and beetle juice.

First, we had to make a magic wand so we could cast our spells. Then, the children used things they found in the forest to make their potion and then selected the special magic ingredients. Finally, they were allowed to choose one potion pot which if they tapped their wand would turn into their own magic ingredient. We had dinosaur bones, foxes fur and many more great examples.
