Murray Class – Excellent Historians

Today in our History lesson, we recapped on the information that we know about the Great Fire of London. We then reminded ourselves about why Samuel Pepys’ diary was, and still is, an important historical record so we know about the events of the Great Fire of London. We all thought that it was funny that Samuel Pepys was worried that his wine and cheese would be destroyed in the fire so he buried it in his garden! After learning some more information about Samuel Pepys, the children wrote a diary, in the role of Samuel Pepys. Well done children!

I hope that you have a great weekend!
