Year 3 Dahl – Bread Tasting

In our design and technology lessons this term, we are exploring different types of sandwiches, the ingredients in them and how they are created. Today, we enjoyed discussing and tasting different types of bread to see which we preferred! We tried a range of bread including brown bread, white bread, pitta bread, rolls and wraps.

We loved tasting each piece of bread, considering what they look like, the different textures, smells and tastes each one had. We used our opinions to discuss and consider which our favourite was and which type of bread would be the best for different types of sandwiches. Finally, we put it all of our information into a table to compare each type of bread.
