Rowling Writing!

Wow! We have some fabulous writers in Rowling class. This week, we have been doing lots of short burst writing, focusing on character and using the character toolkit.

Over the last 3 days we have been looking at what a good character description looks like, identifying the tools and then applying to our own writing. After a shared write yesterday, today we had a new picture and independently wrote a character description.

I am so proud of the writing you have produced, it blew me away! The language used is incredible and you really get a sense of the character through the description. You have taken on and listened to all of the feedback and generated a high quality bank of words and phrases to use.
