A Very Muddy Education!

What an amazing day of outside learning the children in Wiggins and Robinson Class have had today. It might have tried, but we did not let the weather dampen our spirits or spoil our day at all.

There was such excitement as we set off on the minibus and started the journey to Holdenby village.

On arrival, we were met by Becky who explained the day to us, taught us the rules and showed us where to explore. We all took part in a fabulous range of activities including minibeast hunts, natural collage, sandcastle making, mud kitchen work, scavenger hunts, den building and relaxing in a hammock! By lunchtime, the sun had started to peep through the clouds and after refuelling we worked in a different part of the forest for the afternoon.  The communication between the children was outstanding as they took part in team challenges and solved problems.
