Murray Class – What a great week we’ve had!

Well done Murray Class for such an excellent first week back at school! You have all settled in beautifully and have worked hard in every lesson.

One of my favourite lessons this week was Science was where we explored different materials to see if we could bend, stretch, twist or squash them. We found that the blue tac was the best material to bend, twist, stretch and squash. We found that if we tried to bend or twist a wooden spoon then it snapped. Luckily, we didn’t need the wooden spoons to eat any food! What was your favourite lesson this week?

Today, in maths, we had lots of different objects and we chose whether to count in 2s, 5s and 10s to see how many objects there were all together. Next, we used arrow cards to show how many tens and ones the number had and reminded ourselves about what the digits represented within the two-digit numbers.

At lunchtime today, we some of us had a great time in choir! We played some singing games and then started to learn the song ‘Doe a Deer’.

I hope that you have a wonderful weekend!
