Year 4 Lennon-McCartney – Inspiring poetry

Last week we explored a range of setting pictures and wrote some poetry using the senses and well-chosen language. We looked at familiar settings linked to our History unit of work from last term about the Vikings and used our background knowledge to help describe what it might have been like to be there.
I was amazed by the quality of poetry produced, in particular this one from Niamh which she was also awarded Star of the Week for!

I am really looking forward to seeing how we apply this knowledge into our setting writing this week.
