What a Week!

Mrs Greener and I are amazed at everything that has been achieved this week by Churchill Class.  We have completed assessments, written poetry and prose that published authors would be proud of, mastered long division, practised Christmas songs and also led the anti-bullying assemblies across school.

We are particularly impressed by the class’ attitude towards our maths lessons.  Dividing by 2-digit numbers is tricky as we can’t rely on our times tables recall.  The children have paid careful attention to the modelling of the method- particularly how to use fact boxes to aid their understanding. 

You must all be exhausted Year 6!  Have a wonderful weekend and we’ll start again on Monday!
