Fabulous Forest School in Reception

We have had a super week in Reception, as we have continued to look at The Tempest by William Shakespeare.

We found out about how quills were used for writing and made our own in Forest School using sticks and feathers. Then, we used our quills to do mark making with the mud from Forest School.

We have also looked at the seasons through the theme of The Tempest. We had ice cubes that melted throughout the day, and as they melted, they revealed items from the island such as golden coins!

We have had a fantastic time studying The Tempest, and are very proud of Reception’s super work!
