World Book Day – Year 6!

We have had a fabulous World Book Day 2022 in Year 6 today. From book sharing and reading with reception to books in a box and writing book reviews, we really engulfed ourselves in the love for reading which we have as a year group. This morning, we enjoyed sharing and reviewing our favourite books with our peers in class, writing a summary and giving them a star rating out of 5. Later this afternoon, we enjoyed joining reception to read with them and were so impressed with their love for reading!

We had numerous entries for the book in a box competition and it was extremely hard to choose a winner! A vast range of books were represented in the competition including Harry Potter, Wonder, Alice in Wonderland, Divergent and non-fiction books covering topics about types of dogs, fishing and more. Well done to everyone who entered the competition and a massive well done to the winners:
