Great work in Wiggins Class

What a busy few days we have had in Wiggins Class. We have been working very hard on our listening skills, the ability to give and receive instructions and turn taking. Simon Says proved very popular, with the children enjoying taking turns at being the leader. Between the giggles, we all followed instructions from each other!

We used our Magic Bucket game to practise turn taking too. We have a huge array of interesting toys and artefacts in our magic bucket which the children loved exploring, one at a time, passing them on to their friends when they were asked.

Our new Talk for Writing text this term is Jack and the Beanstalk and we have explored this story, using clues to work out what the tale might be. We have practised cutting skills and used the characters to create a scene from the story, sharing our ideas with our friends. We have also planted beans and are excited to watch what happens and hopefully grow some huge beanstalks of our own.
