Sunny Days

What a wonderful day Wiggins Class had today. We have been using our courtyard area to find out about 2d shapes and their properties, along with creating a new story based on Mr Gumpy’s Outing. We changed the characters and had stories with aliens, witches and some very grumpy dads in!

This afternoon, we had Forest School. The children enjoyed being in the shade of the trees and were challenged to transport water from one place to another without spilling it. This was mostly successful! After Forest School, we had a fabulous session of Music Bugs. The children used lots of different instruments to play along to some of their favourite songs and loved using the props to become sharks, fish and lobsters. This is always a really lovely time in our week because all the children join in for at least some of the session and they have learnt so many new skills.
