Fantastic effort this week Mandela!

We have had an extremely busy week in Mandela Class. With continued focus on English, we have drafted, edited and written-up two extended pieces of writing: a persuasive speech and a narrative called The Island. The children applied their editing skills in combination with their writerly tools to produce two fantastic pieces. You should be so proud of what you have achieved!

In addition to working extremely hard in English, we have also explored the impact of wire length on circuits in science and made progress towards our Frida Kahlo inspired portraits in art. Despite the scorching heat, the children applied themselves with focus, initiative and independence consistently throughout the week.

Well done for an amazing week Mandela!
