Paddington Class being creative

We had a very creative week at school.  In DT we have been looking at different play equipment and began to make models of our favourite pieces of equipment.  At the end of the week we had a great Forest School session where we looked at our faces and our friends, after discussing and celebrating our differences, we made collages of our faces using objects we found in the forest. When the sun came out we were able to use our shadows to make part of our pictures too!  The children also enjoyed making mud pies, using the listening phone and finding insects, including a ladybird.

I am looking forward to our week ahead when we will be making up our our defeat the monster stories based on The Three Little Pigs, what characters would you have in your story?  In maths we will be beginning to learn about time and looking at analogue clocks to tell the time.

I hope you are having a great weekend.

Mrs Egan
