Fun-filled evening: Mini Olympics!

Good morning from Year 6! We are all up and ready for another exciting day of activities. Everyone is in high spirits ahead our morning activities and a trip to the beach this afternoon!

Last night, we all took part in an SDS Year 6 Mini Olympics! However, what we didn’t realise was that it was the Olympics with a twist… starting with a relay, we then took part in a drama activity (which was very dramatic) before the most exciting event: Make the Longest Line. In groups of 10, children competed to make the longest straight line across the field with whatever they could find. Starting off with some shoes and cones, the children had a clever idea- to use the teachers and course leaders! With us all stretch out along the field, the winners were crowned! We all had such a fun time.
