Year 5 – Space Centre Trip

Today year 5 visited the Space Centre in Leicester. We had a great time learning all about space! First we had a talk about rocket science where we learnt about the history of rockets and watched some experiments where ‘rockets’ were shot across the room! Then we went off to explore the centre exhibits in our groups. After lunch, we watched a show in the planetarium where we learnt about our solar system. We’ve had lots of fun and learnt loads of interesting facts!
