Working well together

What a fabulous start to the new school year Wiggins Class has made. We are getting to know our new friends, establishing our routines, learning our school rules and generally having a fantastic time exploring and learning lots of new things together.

Today, the children found out about my favourite things to play with in the classroom and how to take care of the things that are special to each of us. We are learning that there are lots of things that are the same about all of us but that it is also good to have things that are different from each other. We are all unique and we should celebrate that!

We are really enjoying using the courtyard too and have thoroughly enjoyed building sandcastles as if we are still on the beach on our holidays! It has been nice to share all our holiday news, finding out who did what and where we all went.

There are so many things to look forward to this year and the children have made a truly wonderful start.
