Fantastic end to the term in Mozart class!

This week, we had the excitement of the pumpkin competition! The whole of the Year 4 team were astounded by the pumpkins (and drawings of pumpkins) that were brought into school, and we proudly displayed them for everyone to see. As you can imagine, it was extremely hard to decide on a winner, so we asked the Year 3 teachers to come and judge… and they picked the spa pumpkin! A massive well done to everyone who took part!

As well as this, the children were very excited to do computing for the first time in Year 4 yesterday. We looked at editing digital images, and why people might choose to do so, before the children had a go at cropping, retouching, changing the brightness and saturation and adding filters and effects to a picture of a rainforest animal. We chose rainforest animals as this links nicely to the art that we have been doing! The children produced some great results:

We are so proud of all of the children and the progress they have made this term. It is now time for the children to have a well-deserved rest!

Have a lovely half-term!
