Robinson Class

What a wonderful term we have had in Robinson class. I am so impressed with how well the children have settled back into school and how much learning we have completed over the first term.

This week, the children have finished their hot writes in English and thoroughly enjoyed sharing them with their families at parents evening.

In Maths, we have learnt about different coins and their values. We have pretended to be shop keepers and pay for different amounts in various different ways. We then thought about the differences between 2p, 20p and £2 and other similar examples.

As always, we have thoroughly enjoyed visiting the library and sharing books with our peers. Don’t forget your 15 books in your bag to share over half term.

In forest school, the children created Autumn windows, the children had to search the forest for different shapes and sized leaves to create their pieces.

The children enjoyed watching members of our class who take part in ‘Born to perform’ sessions outside of school perform several sing and sign songs. The children showed how to be the perfect audience and gave positive comments to their peers.

I hope you have a wonderful half term and we cannot wait to see you back on Tuesday 1st November.
