Science in Paddington Class

Today we conducted an experiment whilst answering the question ‘What Can I Smell?”.  The children were asked to smell things hidden under tinfoil and they made some great predictions and observations, some of which were:

I think it smells like salty crisps.

I don’t like it; it is like a dirty toilet!

It spells like coffee granules, like at Costa.

I think it is gravy.

It smells beautiful like perfume.

I think it is garlic, like in meatballs.

I think it is lemon juice.

The hidden items were coffee granules, scented candles, vinegar, garlic and washing up liquid.  Great predictions Paddington Class.
