Matilda- A Purrrfect last week!

This final week of spring 1  has been just as busy, exciting and fantastic as the rest of the term.

Firstly can I say how great it was to talk to so many parents during the TLC evenings, it’s great to have those conversations and to let you know how hard your children have been working.

We have been celebrating children’s mental health by discussing how, although we are all different people in many wonderful ways, there are so many ways that we are connected. The children had a lovely time creating paper chains of all the things they like and share.

In maths we have been continuing our work on coins which the children have really engaged with. We have been using coins to pay for items in the classroom and to order food from a menu.
As promised we had the opportunity to finish our RE work, looking at the bible story of David and the lion’s den. The children finished their lion masks and each one is so uniquely vibrant and lovingly made.

Thank you for another fantastic term, it is very strange to think we are half way through the year already! I hope you all have a lovely holiday and I will see you all on the first day back.
