We have had another wonderful week in Robinson class.
This week we have finished our unit of work on cumulative tales. The children used the model ‘The Enormous Turnip’ to write their own cumulative tale. Each child became the main character, changed the vegetable, characters that helped them and ending. Everyone’s final stories are fantastic as they have used skills such as alliteration, power of 3 and more to add detail to their story. Well done everyone.
On Wednesday, 8 children went to Northampton Cricket Ground to play table cricket. We had a brilliant morning competing with other schools using the skills we have developed in school from our weekly coaching lessons. We have been very lucky to have a cricket coach from the ground come into school weekly to teach us how to play, the rules, scoring and more. I was very proud of everyone who attended, their behaviour and sportsmanship was superb. Well done.
Next term, we will be swimming on the first day back. Please check parent mail for further details.
