Dyson – Art

In Art this term, Dyson class have been exploring using a monotone palette when painting. They found looking at other artists monochromatic paintings fascinating. It was remarkable seeing the amazing effects that can be achieved using such a limited palette. The children have been busy learning how to mix powder paints correctly to create different tones of grey. They have also been practicing their sketching and observation skills when drawing artefacts from World War 1. As you can see, their work is rather good.
