A fabulous first week in Mandela

Mandela Class have had a fantastic first three days this week! The children have started their persuasive writing unit in English, place value work in maths, character description in reading, WW2 in history and so much more!

As part of our English work today, the children generated some fantastic vocabulary words to describe the personality traits of different characters in Harry Potter. Yesterday in history, the children learnt about the clues which suggested World War 2 was going to happen and the countries involved. And across all three days, we have loved learning all about Nelson Mandela with the children sharing their amazing summer projects.

Well done for an outstanding start Mandela!
