Dahl Class: Week 4 already!

So, here we are at a wet end to the fourth week of the term. Time is flying by! This week, the children have been writing their own ‘warning tales’ based on our model text ‘Kassim and the Greedy Dragon.’ They’ve also been continuing to work hard at building on their knowledge of place value in Maths and we have just reached the Bronze Age in History!

Thank you for your support with Key Skills so far. This week the children are bringing home a text about the Stone Age to read and answer questions about – a good opportunity for you to discuss with your child what they have learned so far.

Please could you also encourage your child to find new words to bring in on Monday for our Word Wizard competition. We are trying to make sure it is not going to be Upper KS2 winning the extra playtime every week, but to do that we all need to find and bring in new vocabulary. Each child is aiming to find 5 words for next week.  Many thanks for your support and have a great weekend!
